The bad thought about yourself, negative feelings... Your own "demons" like they call it. Sometimes they're there and you can't put them away they make you feel bad.
On the other side, there are times that you are proud of yourself, for the things that you do in your life, and the good things you do to other people (I guess it's personal about her own but I like to enlargen the theme a bit so I can find myself in it...). And then you think that thát part is really what you are.
So you're going back and forth (I don't know the right english expression for the expression I mean, hope it's clear) between those two sides of you, and wondering which is the real you.
But you have to realise it's both parts of you, the negative part and also the light, cheerful part. And they both makes you what you are, and you need the dark part to realise the good things.
Probably this sounds very cliché but I wanted to comment on this because it helped me throug some hard time and to accept my negative aspects of myself, and seeing my positive parts more.
