He and I posted on the same internet message board, someone else on the message board had talked about how we should write songs for him, that he would've done that for one of us we had died. My dad died a year and a half ago, and after he died I tried to write a song about him and it came out very awful and I was embarrassed and a little bit ashamed about it. So this song is about the pressure that I feel whenever I'm trying to write a song about someone I know who died. I dedicate it to Ben."
