Recently read Lexicon Devil:the fast times and short life of Darby Crash and the Germs and it turns out the voices in the background are Pat Delaney and Don Bolles saying "Non Deus" which means "No God" in Latin.
Fans of Darby Crash should check that book out, you can't find out much about him online, and most of it is wrong or inaccurate. Lexicon Devil is told through quotes from Darby Crash himself--first as Jan Paul Beahm, then Bobby Pin, and finally Darby Crash--and the people who knew him. You can't really understand what went into these lyrics unless you know what Darby went through. I knew he was fucked up, but that doesn't even begin to explain it. Darby was a modern-day Hitler--except without the hate... and the ability to rise to power. I still think he would have been the best leader the U.S has ever seen. Fascism could work with the right leader.
