i may be way off here, but dinosaur is a slang term for morphine and/or heroin... he compares a heroin high to 'floating in a warm sea' in Houston, so why not 'descending into the molten core'?
to me 'i have not found the science' means i can't control this thing. i haven't figured out a way to do this without fucking my whole life up- but, oh well! who's worried when you're nodding out?
