I think this song may be about having an affair.
-Verse One: The speakers lover cheated on him, and, though he once thought they were fated to be together, he can't believe in her anymore. He wants someone to take him and help him restore his faith
-Chorus: (Maybe) He cheated on his lover with the 'angel in disguise', who makes him feel better, but also makes him forget how cheating on his lover is wrong. He can't let go of what his lover did to him, and being with the 'angel' just feels right.
-Verse two: I'm afraid I'm not sure about this verse.
-Verse Three: (Maybe) He tried to get back with his lover, but she cheated on him again, thus he once again feels 'betrayed', and is 'blind with rage'. He's asking the 'angel' if she could help him, and heal the pain.
