To all the ignorant assholes who say this song sucks because there is rap in it can GTFO. The Gorillaz have had rap artist appear in many of their songs and anybody who claims to be a gorillaz fan wouldn't be so piss poor idiotic to label all rap as thug music.
I want to ask how somebody can take this song as being thuggish or gangsta? There are no lyrics that depict gang violence or drugs (Hell, that's something that Damon has dabbed into a lot) Or is it that when you hear a rap song that sounds like something you normally wouldn't listen to, your small mind feels threatened by the change and you have to shut down all mental capabilities and call it "thug".
This song is about 9/11. Nothing about the streets. Anybody who feels they can judge an entire rap group or an entire fucking genre by what somebody says can take the dicks out of their ears and actually read the fucking lyrics and form a well organized opinion instead of just blindly hating something.
