if i look at it simply & don't try to analyse the verses.

it's just like a cycle.
it's like you grow up not having being warned of all the world's harsh realities & you're resentful for it but then you have kids yourself & you can never seem to quite find the right way, the right words to explain how it is or how it'll be for them so they grow up & experience it for themselves & in turn resent you.. so the cycle continues.
