fken awesome song . .esp. the guitar solo at 2.30 . .is it a double riff . .I'm so hopeless my ears our go out of tune form all this metal I've been listening to since as a kid. lol. .
Here I go picked out it's brains then . .I think this song could be about drug abuse, a person using drugs as a way to console himself and forget his hatred or the fked up state it is in & he's asking if a special someone can help him and stop him from drowning deeper into the darkness he has dug himself into.
OR
It could be about a person with a mental disorder using prescribed pills to control their temperament . .maybe they're bi-polar or suffering from Severe depression, psychosis, Multiple personalitys disorder who knows . . but he needs them pills to keep himself from seeing "red" . .turning violent that is. and the "There's one more dose, just one more dose to clear my head" makes me thinkn of him trying to use these prescribed medicines or maybe illicit drugs to keep his modd swings under control.
Thats my 2 cents . .this band is so underrated and I'm very glad to have come across them, they sound fresh, raw and I'm hoping to listen to more her their work. I've heard silence and Goodbye (Loved it as well) and Bonds in which we break is another kickass song . .anyways over & out fellow mofo metalheads. =)
