To be honest, i didn't really understand how he's talking about thinking about a girl.. then it goes to being the 'coldest night' .
i took it that he felt something for a girl. He gets extremely jealous of other guys trying after her.
but i took a look at the bigger picture, i feel like he's saying "this is the coldest night" as in he feels as though he's completely unhappy and 'cold' inside because he can't get her.
