so yeah, i think the decomposing light is like, the world is getting worse and worse, like its decomposing. and the light symbolizes hope and good and stuff. and the thing about his native tongue...i think it's like, since he sings a lot about the state of the world, maybe he's saying that some people view that as bad, like, it's bad to talk about the world? and the whole thing about it's the one i'll write...maybe like, he hasn't given up even if everyone else has. and yeah, the whole closing your eyes and waking up thing can be like, ignoring it or fighting it. and the thing about getting up to fight is like, maybe talking about war and protests and stuff. the thing about fools and dogs...i don't really know. a dog sort of symbolizes someone following authority, which has gone corrupt. or someone who protects authority and fights for it and never really questions authorities intentions. but i don't get the thing about being a waste...
