I'm surprised this song doesn't have more comments. This is in my top 3 songs from Paper Walls...which really is saying a lot because it's my favorite cd so far.
I pretty much agree with most of what everybody's said. It's like she wants to be saved, but is too afraid to be. Basically, she's very insecure and can't make up her mind. She doesn't know if she wants commitment, she's afraid of herself and doesn't think anybody can save her.
And in the end he realizes that even though he's been trying to hard to find her and save her, he can't help her if she doesn't want to be helped. "You'll never let yourself be saved"
