OBVIOUSLY this song is about an alien takeover. if this song were a movie, it would star Tom Cruise and Shia Labeouf. Obviously.

He's lying about the thizz thing because he's trying to rationalize why he saw fucking ALIEN UFOs. he hid in the bushes because he was wandering around in a field, probably cow tipping, when he saw the UFOs.

Because no one can fucking ignore aliens And they're hard as fuck to describe because they all look different.

BLINDING LIGHTS? Of course that would be the fucking beam of light that abducted the fucking cows. And of course the man is a bore, how could anything be exciting after you just fucking saw aliens.

see these are all code words Necklace being = The undescribable burns on his neck that he found when he awoke from passing out in the field

Watch being = Cuts on his wrist when he went insane and tried to kill himself

and the Blowtorch being = just regular blow that he snorts to cope with reality. he adds the "torch" to make it rhyme with "front porch" which he just adds to throw us off. sneaky bastards.

"it's so obvious.. you're constantly blocking me from, rational thinking" thats will smith and tommy lee jones using those fucking little memory erasers trying to convince him that he did not see aliens.

The chorus, "Maybe I look good in leather In my bed I pluck your feathers we should fucking be together now look alive and say you've gotta go" Is simply him expressing his desire to follow the light and be with the aliens, and that all he wants is to fly away with them into space and escape this Earth. And the look alive part is them suddenly shooting off after looking so peaceful and beautiful.

"Its not always fact of fiction" He cant completely prove it, but that doesnt mean it didnt happen.

"the night was innocent but she'll never believe that I was alone the night was innocent" is him trying to convince his girlfriend that he really was alone when he was in the field, she thinks that he took another girl out there, and the burns on his neck are actually hickeys which she takes as prove of him cheating when he did not IT WAS THE MOTHERFUCKING ALIENS.

"reciting words I never meant to write" She keeps bringing up the neck thing but thats not even his fault

THAT IS THE MOST OBVIOUS FUCKING PART. ANYONE CAN SEE THAT THAT IS ACTUALLY WRITTEN (and possibly sung) BY THE ALIENS THEMSELVES. Because no fucking human has the ability to be gravity. thats just fucking stupid.
