This is an amazing song. Though, I hesitate to call it beautiful because it is horribly sad. I mean, two people in a bad relationship, staying together and being miserable...
@dogassnat That's similar to what the song was written about, however the real intended meaning isn't as sad as that, the "I'll love whatever you become, forget the reckless things we've done" part is positive as it's about moving on from and forgetting the memories that don't help anymore.
