I think it's kind of a sarcastic play on words of the hypocrisy, conformity, and skewed moral values of modern christianity. Not so much the actual "giving oneself to the devil or evil" like everyone says on here- that's just shallow and stupid. It rather takes what is seen as good christianity and analyzes its malevolent intensions. How religion does evil things to influence- rather brainwash in a sense, captivate and control those who don't believe until they are stricken with fear and violent imagery and blindly follow the puppeteer who preaches to them conformity and the...

Again done through metaphorical exaggeration- "In fire baptized" doesn't really mean actual fire (satanic) it represents the burning, scarring nature baptism places- it's a scar that binds you forever indebted to a religion, it burns freedom of choice and leaves a burn to identify as a christian. most people here take it too literally..
