This song actually does remind me of Fefe Dobson.
but I don't really think it has to mean about getting back together with the same guy. I think it's about getting out of a relationship and still being in that kind of rebound period, but meeting somebody new who you really like. Even though you just got "out of the fire" you go ahead and jump into a relationship with a person because you really like them, even though it's "another chance to get burned".
and by the way, is it just me or does the sound of that "but you called me out" part remind you of the song for that old show "Daria"?
