Personally i love this song. Well, i feel this is not a sad song. Its message is quite encouraging. As bballfrk11 said the song is telling us to hold on through the hard times and yeah one day all the hard times will be gone. Well, i feel the song reflects quite a wide contrast from the normal jobs to our love. But it begins from a point of view of a person who is going through real hard times.
