I have mixed feelings of what I think this song is actually about...but I know in many ways I can apply it to my life right now and I ABSOLUTELY adore it. Definitely one of my all-time favourites, I found it at just the perfect time for me...it seems to be about the timing of everything being wrong- maybe the guy just needs more time to think about their developing relationship and realise what he really wants from it- but he is saying that they will work through any difficulties together even though it may be hard at first. These difficulties could be anything really though...maybe they are going their separate ways for a while and don't know if their relationship will survive the change. Maybe they have financial problems? However, despite the sad undertones there is lots of hope in this song I think! It's saying that don't worry...everything will work out eventually somehow, even if you can't see how. Things will turn around. Yeah there will be change involved, and hard times, and a whole load of confusion...but it's got to get better eventually so as long as they believe that then there should be a happy ending :)
