i absolutely love this song. it's really, in essence, a good, heartfelt and simple sociopolitical song. it doesn't SCREAM anarchy and rebellion against authority (like certain punk rock songs do), instead what i like about it is its detailed and modern commentary on the "fire on the mountain" happening all around us today, leading us to question whether our society is as perfect as we take it for granted to be. dedicated to Africa, the song also sheds light on the situation there.

haha, in my mind i can clearly see this song being performed at LIVE 8. and it definitely should be, if the event happens again. everyone wants peace, and i think the people of Africa (directly mentioned in the song) definitely need it. go asa.

It's great to hear an artist with a brilliant voice singing lyrics as good as this. Living in Scotland, I can relate the words to here too; lots of issues that people get angry about, but nobody does anything. Then when these things affect us personally we will complain that somebody should have done something about it. I think her songs should be compulsory listening for all politicians.
