I don't read the comic but it could mean , simply , the feathers r that of an angel that she's acting like all innocent. But the dude coming back for her - metaphorically - is the devil. Thus she should hide her angel wings cuz she's arrogantly (or naively) thinking its gonna be Jesus comng back for her - but he doesn't want to save her. So doesn't want to be seen with jc wings when old lucifer comes by to take her for good... Perhaps the symbols here could b applied to the original story? At least that's s
