Interesting points, but I really think this song is actually about how Travis knows he can talk his way in or out of anything and can brag about anything he likes, even things he has not done and make people believe him due to being such a slick talker, but inside thats not him and he just wants people to listen to him for himself, not his witty catch lines, but like Travis says, he doesn't want to dictate what his songs mean as its upto individual people how you interpret them
