so about the meaning...
boy and girl had a really close relationship. she did something that hurt him bad. he still loved her and cared for her, but couldnt forgive her for what she did. they thought maybe time would make things pass, and they could be together again. as time passes, the feelings they have over what had happened, his hurt/anger, and her guilt, continue to torment them. then he remembers her, and realizes that they can still be there for each other, comfort each other, etc. each has to get out their feelings. so they are there for each other. whether or not they get back together, who knows. but what this is about is still caring for the other person even after the worst. anyways thats my interpretation of this song. yay.
