I think this song is all about growing up and crazy high school/ college days. Pretty much, its like just have as much fun as you can rebelling, these are supposed to be the best days of our lives. Even though parents and adults in general seem to hold a certain contempt for such a lifestyle, you have to learn eventually not to care if no ones giving solid reasons against it
