But reading the lyrics, it seems pretty obvious that there is at least some reference to drugs. I didn't know weed is sometimes called 'ary jane', but that adds to it.
I do think it's about a girl too, but maybe she keeps knocking him nack because he's too mixed up with the drugs. Maybe he's known as a bit of a ladie's man, too, "Christ.
He's everybody's girl." and she knows 'his type'. After all, he only wants to 'spend the night with her', believing that Friday night is pointless if he 'hasn't got nobody'.
