I didn't like this song to begin with, but now it is my favourite. It's such a well written song, you can take it however you want. But Wednesday 13 has said the album was about his depression, near suicide, and alcoholism.
"The crowd goes wild at my demise" seems to mean that he was slowly killing himself and people just continued to cheer.
I love how he manages to pull of writing emotional songs without making it soppy.
Let's hope he carries on now he is over the hard bit. xx~
