i see this song kind of differently...i always took it as though two people having always had a very complicated relationship with eachother- very on again/off again. Like the timing was always off between them; when one was ready to be with the other, it just never worked out- they kept missing out on eachother. And its just about on REALIZEing how they truely feel and wanting to be with the other but the timing is just always bad- no matter how perfect they are for eachother
