Yay for religious rants. I'm actually in a somewhat odd position here. I'm very much a Christian but I adore the music in this song. So I listen to it anyway and come up with my own rants to counter the lyrics :)

I'm going to write an essay on that line some day.
The truth of the matter is that I'd betray either one for the other in the name of "right", "truth" or "boredom". However, Vorph (Samael's singer and lyricist) doesn't mention the fact that innovation and tradition can co-exist quite easily.
I could go on. and on and on and on and on.....
