This song, when looking over it again, it definitely about a radio station owner. It seems as if he used his life savings on the station, and it is failing miserably, and he wants to sell it back. I think the song is an allegory on the decline of real, homegrown, local radio. He just can't compete with everyone else and nobody wants to listen to his stuff, even if it's better. Damn kids.
