I think it is someone who has a drink and drug problem, or some sort of addictive problem, that is so bad that he/she has spent all his/her money on it. So this person has to live out on the streets and is so unhappy about it all that spends the rest of the cash on the addictive stuff which really messes the person up because the person is in such an unhappy place in his/her head and suddenly gets to a state of mind that he/she believes that no one has got to which is a really "i don't care about anything anymore" state of mind. The person looks at whats happening around and realises how beautiful everything is but nobody really takes notice and takes everything for granted. The person then believes that this world is ugly and so really just wants to die and find a place which is much more caring etc.
