reckon this song is slating the catholic church

"So here's your church and here's your steeple And you're locking your doors to keep in all the people" - kind of suggests that theyre quite oppressive and dogmatic, kind of contradicting the idea of being free in Christ

"You learn right from wrong Then you write the book yourself Right the wrongs you know" - could be about the catechism, why write it when we already have the Bible; is it right to change the word of God so we can "right the wrongs you know", i.e justify our own wrongs

I agree! :) I think their definitely concentrating on the idea of oppression within the Catholic Church.
