Wow everyone's comments on this are very general...I don't know anything about this band but I got this from the 07 warped tour comp album which rules my soul...
Anyway, I'm glad to see the lyrics cleared up because the line "I'll throw my thoughts into the sea" always sounded like "I'll throw my thoughts to Tennessee" (which I knew was wrong) or "I'll throw my thoughts and tendencies" (which sounded a lot better and made sense enough).
So what I hear from the lyrics: he's with a girl that's melodramatic and very jealous, she's boxing him in and it's pushing him further away but he can't get away from her (can't shake her) for whatever reason. Beyond that, no clue.
