it may just be me...but when i listen to this song i feel like i relate to it a lot but in a different way than you guys have taken it so far. what seems to stand out to me, and it may just be because i feel this way currently, is that the writer of this song possibly wants to not be with this person hence "i feel like i know you don't mean to be mean" but it breaks her heart to think of leaving this person because her partner seems so sincere in loving her and she doesn't wanna break her heart... "when you creep up and tell me darling it breaks my heart each time you darling you break my heart each time you you slip your hands inside my pockets tell me nothing else would do without me, you can't live and you slip your heart into my chest" it's like her partner saying and doing these things makes it harder for her to leave and breaks her heart to know this. like it breaks her heart to know this person cares so much. anyone know what i mean??
