This is one of my favorite Hanson songs. I just absolutely love the electric version on the Underneath album. Taylor really shows his vocal talent in this song, and what he's made of.
I think this is a song about the uncertainty and anxiety at the beginning of a relationship. The guy is nervous, and not really sure if she wants him or not. Because, she's sending mixed signals. It seems to be about the nerves of dating.

Which was towards the beginning of his relationship with Natalie, since they started dating in late 2000. I do think it was sweet of him to dedicate it to her. Some people think he wrote it about her, and some think he wrote it, not necessarily with her in mind. It depends on your own perspective. I mean, he still dedicates songs to her, but they're not necessarily about her. I remember him dedicating "I've Been Down" to her at a preview show last year, and he said it was because she just really loved the song.
