i dont think he's saying that we go to heaven or an after life at all, but really the possibility is still there. all we know is we decay and become part of the earth(mostly water). everything recycles and over all we are just carbon based beings with memory and impact on human relationship, yet when we die we become this planet made of sand crystals and alot of water.
