I'm wondering if "We're all too smart to talk to God" is really athiestic - as in, we're too smart for all this religion business - or sarcastic - as in, society acts like it's outgrown God and Faith is SO 1999.
Definitely really Atheistic but it can actually mean that people spend so much time thinking about stupid religious ideas that Atheists believe themselves to be separated from all spirituality or even philosophy and are therefore unable to connect with the non-theistic oneness in the world.
