I think that what Jack is trying to say, in relation to the environment, is that we need to be cautious about global warming and how humans are slowly destroying the Earth.

Tears are related to mother nature's waters, and how human emotion and purpose sometimes get it the way of helping our environment. But if we don't watch for these signs, our Earth will be destroyed all in due time.
I also think that when he says "daddy" he is relating to God, or something of that sort, whom has not been watching over their child (Earth).
