Also, I don't think the lyric is "You oughta know that or you oughta know" Cause it really doesn't sound like that

I think its pretty much about two people in a relationship where the girl is mad at the guy for some reason and he doesn't know why.
"This was going so well, but I don't know what I did, All I really can tell is, I've been hit!" That pretty much explains it
"I guess I might take it back, but I'm not sure what I did" He's saying he's probably going to apologize even though he doesn't know what she's mad about.
