I always imagined this song about a girl, who's really pretty, and everybody wants her, but won't show her true self... "They can't see your heart They don't care to see who you are They're just a pack of wolves Don't let them break you down Don't let them break you down"

And he compares the guys to a pack of wolves, because she's really pretty, and they all 'fight' over her, just to get in her pants. And when they succeed, they break up with her, and break her down some more.

"You are the starlight That sparks up the whole night Just let their voices fade out And stand in the spotlight Take a bow" I thought that he was talking about how her beauty could be "blinding", but the good blinding, because of the starlight part. And the rest is about her showing her true self, and not letting herself be affected by the guys who just want her for her looks. ("Just let their voices fade out")

"Everybody's lost Most people think they're not But I'm not losing you now I don't think I can at all" He's saying that a lot of people don't see that people are being hurt by guys trying to get to them for sex, and end up getting lost. Then, he says that he's not losing her now, because, obviously, he's trying not to let her get hurt by them.

"Please don't run away from me I don't want to find you lost in their eyes Please don't make a fool of me Cause I don't want to find you lost and alone"

Here, she's been hurt too much by the guys that she thought loved her, breaking up with her, so she's "running away" from him...as in, being more shy, not showing her true self, etc. And he doesn't want to find her "lost/alone", because that would mean that she got hurt again by a guy, and he doesn't want that to happen to her.

"One day they'll see One day they'll all see One day they'll be shouting the truth One day (one day) They'll all be cheering for you"

He's saying that one day, they'll see that they were idiots for doing this to her, and one day she'll look back on this, when she's older, and learn her less and grow/become a better person, and they'll be "cheering her on", because they helped her achieve this in the end.

Well, that's just what I got from this song...It's probably much different from other's POVs, but oh well.
