i get the sense that he's just hit a bunch of hurdles recently in his life(maybe a break-up,maybe just feelings of unaccomplishment) and he's dealing with it is by just blocking it all out and not truly caring.like hes just in his mind everythings okay and thats whats getting him through and he doesnt want anyone to tell him otherwise.and i agree with yhalothar,im pretty sure its "this is changed,its a shame..."
