Pretty obvious what this song is about, but I wondered if the girl in the second verse is the same girl referred to at the end of Josh Small's song "Say Hello"? where he sings "If New York City's all you need, you don't need me". Since I know Tim and Josh are close friends, it's likely they know this same person. Maybe Josh was the old "beau" before this "guy from Texas"?
