I think most of u are wrong... I think its about how we are "bledding dry" the third world and the rest of the poor in this world. One sign would be "the worlds colide but the distance remains", obvouisly about globalisation... "we point the finger never accept the blame" would mean, we know what we are doing but still dont change it, still dont buy fairtrade and support cocacola and such stuff. the drought symblozes the situation were in and the rain would be a solution, so they re dancing for rain. the "singer" is either a protester against this injustice or an poor of this world. but whatever he is, he will never be kneeling, he wil fight to the end.. what u think about this interpretation?

i think this is actually pretty accurate to what Rise Against meant, because they are a very political band. A lot of their songs are political. But I think one could interpret it to suit a relationship or other experience they've had making them not necessarily wrong, just seeing things differently. For instance i can see how this could in fact be about a failing relationship. The guy doesn't want to change anything but recognizes that the relationship is going downhill so he is hoping for an answer or solution to this relationship. that's just a fun little side note...

I think this is the best interpretation so far and was about to make my own along these lines. I would also point out that he is glorifying those who who the ground and criminalizing those who don't.

"if i held my ground would you ask me to change"

"this drought bleeds on now were dancing for rain" could show that them fighting back is them dancing for rain. They are tying to stop these things from happening.
