Apparently, 'ananas' is French slang for breasts (means 'pineapples' literally). That should make some sense of this song, "Let me see you one more time", "Thinkin' 'bout your ananas"... take from that what you will. ;-)

In all seriousness though, I think he was rejected here by someone he really cared for and was very attracted to. "Even my own heart don't belong to me" he says, which shows he actually cares about more than the superficial, but he's looking for anything, "Howling like a dog on the moonlight" for her to "Laisse moi te voir" (let me see you). It's a song of desperation and loss, and a little bit of the blues. I didn't like it at first, but it's grown on me.
