Dancers to a Discordant System

This song is about how this world is NOT ideal.

We all know about what is great morale and how this world would be perfect, but how we do not even follow our own principles. Thats because we follow the way of this world, and we just dance the dance, but dont even agree with it, so that way it is discordant. We just do whatever we claim necesseray, and whatever is said to be rightious. That whist there are so many morality impurities, and we say to ourselves that we cannot do anything about it.

We feel safe to the way it is, even though its not the way (we want) it should be. And we are often not even aware of it because we are already (here it comes again) dancing the dance anyway

Pretty much the same as above, we let do evil do its bidding (bloodened hands lead the waltz) go on (still we set the show on continue mode)

We suffer on the system we live in, but not bad enough to make us act, and do something about it, but in the end it will still makes us suffer to bad, and it will be to late.

Once we cant do anything about anymore, we act like nothing happened, like its normal, you still suffer, but you get on with life, as we speak.

If we try to live our lives another way, we bounce on the wall of society, we now need the system to survive.

We just follow the system because we can, its known to us so why leave a system that apperently works, thus we just keep on going like the rest.

We set our trust in (spriritual, presidents etc.) leaders, who have been given great power over all of us.

"Dominated, compliant and deceptable Confident that we matter - we don't see that we're but dust"

We follow these leaders, and still believe we can do whatever we want, instead we still follow the system made by the leaders.

"Committed to a lie we cannot see, cannot know nor comprehend We're all asinine drones kept in the dark, kept in line"

Due all rules and complicated measures, we cannot see the power that has been taken over us, and we are not even aware of it.

We dont know the basics of life anymore due to this complex system, so its easy for leaders to lie to us on a massive scale, even if it includes war and killing.

Because of the rules and justice, we are easily brought to our guilt. Because of the way the system is and we oblige to it, wars and injustice and inhumanity still exist, simply because we dont act against it.

We follow the rules of this wicked system, so we can get some status and ease, but we follow a system that works against us, wich makes us stupid.

Quite simple, with this simple everyone has a number, literally, making us less important, and no one cares.

We still follow the discordant system, even though its bad, because we havent got the guts to stand against it, we still dance to it.

We get used because we let people using us. If there is trust, there has to be reason to trust, because we get betrayed, such is with all of above. Because of the irony in the system we live, its discordant, and we just dance to it.

I love this song because the subject is something that bothers me for some time. And I agree totally with Meshuggah.
