I always thought the person male or female is singing about someone he/she knows that is in a coma. Only becuase the idea of the phoenix is to rise again, 'bring you back to life', 'talking to myself', 'wait of you is so long', 'before you open your eyes', 'always by your side', 'open your eyes because someone loves you', 'if your lost dont ever hide'. all kinda to do with my idea. What yas think?
