I love this song. The great thing about Sleeping at Last is that their songs can be interpreted so many ways. But the way I see this song hardly involves relationships.
I think the song talks a lot about life. "Every move we make // Will trigger another" - probably talks about how doing one thing will be followed by a chain of events, kind of like a domino effect. The song has a really light tone about it, so I don't think Ryan was being cynical. I think he means that everything will fall into its place eventually.
"Our lives weaving like a thread // Within each other, faithfully" - I think Ryan is trying to say that we are all dependent on each other, and we are all apart of a bigger picture.
I don't think I can say enough of how much I love this band. They're so refreshing.
