I love this song! I had it on my myspace profile for a while but then the artist deleted it. It's not on Itunes either, so I just watch the live performances on youtube. It's actually a very depressing song about how you can live, love and laugh, but in the end, everyone dies and it never really mattered. It's obviously a pessmistic view. BEAUTIFUL THOUGH!!!
i think in this song, she's saying that sometimes, people can be there just when you need them, and they'll lend you a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, etc., but they can go as easily as they came. i think she then realizes in the chorus that everyone is kind of like that, like a man of snow, and eventually, we'll melt, or die, one day.
