This was my first In Flames song ever. I never ever was anywjhere around extreme metal. I didn't look at Death Metal that much. I used to play Tony Hawk games and then I heard this track. THUG has a good soundtrack. But anyway I heard this and I shat myself. I loved it so much. It was a gateway. It gave me a new hook on music that I never fathomed before. The growling is top notch. The guitars are just freakin awesome. Colony will always be my favorite album because of shit like the magestic guitar riffs and the dark brutal yet melodic feel. Anders vocals compromise the already incredible music to a newer hight. I never liked death vocals or anything like that but on this he shows how fucking brutal he is because on this album I just can't get over how intense the vocals are. It's unworldly.
That's exactly how I got into this band. I was playing THUG and I heard this song and thought it was awesome. I never liked metal but this song changed that and I am now a self-proclaimed metalhead. Ever since, this has been my favorite In Flames song.
