poeticool, Cassius Clay? Don’t know whether Yannis is referring to the man who favoured abolishing slavery, or Muhammad Ali, the boxer.

Yeah. Good song, quite simple, leaves me to wonder if it has much meaning at all. Good bit of MathRock here along with Mathletics, Hummer and Balloons and Astronauts...(Why I'm I listing?…all their songs are good).

I think once you understand who Cassius is, you’re able to understand the song a whole lot better. “Daydreams”. Dreams of making it. Succeeding. Slight realisation that they may not be the dreams to reach reality. Those of ending slavery. “Cassius it’s over you’re second best.” Slavery not being beaten and that it’s still around. Throughout his best efforts, he and many others haven’t succeeded in abolishing this act.

I’ve just gone through a couple of lines assuming it’s about the slavery Cassius. It’s probably completely wrong. Now I’m just mumbling. Ah well, enjoy.
