Am I the only one who sees this as completely sexual? He quits the relationship because she has "ripped apart his soul" and so now how is she going to get off without him? He would love to "give a dog a bone" and "ring her bell" but he's given up his "midnight creep" and now her "daddy ain't there to do it" to her. Awesome song, and so is the whole album!
