I think that what he's saying is that he's in love with her, but she has no clue and that she always seems to go for his friends, so he doesn't want her around them because he knows they'll just use her. And I think she only see's him as a friend. And he wishes that he could just get rid of all of their friends so they can be together alone until she also realizes the he loves her, and hopefully she'd feel the same.
