I hold her is about a loss of innocence... It was one of my first songwriting attempts when I was about fourtteen. It is basically poetry about being that age and a lot of literal imagery I was seeing and experiencing at the time. I had some crazy shit happen to me and I was holding my mother while she sobbed "My baby..."
I get a lot of questions about that one.
